Facebook Timeline Covers Thar Are So Imaginative

Facebook became a huge part of the majority of humans' life. Although I don't appreciate the unnecessarily excessive interest to it, I know and I see that it can be a very useful platform in many ways. For example, not too long ago timeline was established in Facebook and with this feature the user's wall is organized according to the time. Another feature that came with it was the "cover" which the user can put above his or her wall.
It seems that this cover feature had opened new doors in people's mind, making them produce really imaginative things with combining cover image and the profile picture. Here I am sharing a couple of them:

By the way, I don't know if they did them themselves or made someone else to do them. I even don't know if they aren't copied from someone else's , I just wanted to show which ideas I liked.

Unusual Shoes

I've always had an interest in shoes, especially the unusual ones. It doesn't mean that I would wear them; I look at them as some kind of sculpture instead of an object to use.
A shoemaker named Kobi Levi makes shoes that are interesting and fun. And are they wearable? Of course they are. They could be perfect for women who like to attract attention and like being out of the boundries.

Marriage Proposal With a Pop-Up Card

This time I'm sharing a video. This video features a pop-up card for the purpose of a marriage proposal. I think visualisation of the words is very successful in this card, it's ingenius and very sweet too. It would be hard to turn down such a shy yet cute and creative proposal :)
The only con of this card could be the "r"s of the chosen font are hard to distinguish. Otherwise, I think it's brilliant.

Pushpin Art

This one is a very interesting technique of art. The artist, Eric Daigh, uses pushpins to create portraits of people; and just with red, blue, yellow, white, and black ones.

He works like this: He first takes photos of his subjects, then with a special software he makes images to break down to a very low resolution. After carefully analyzing the images, he prepares a grid map that determines where to stick pushpins.
These portraits may not seem artistic at first glance, some people might say "There's just a  face of low resoluion in front of me." But in life not all things have to be straightforward, sometimes we have to take a deeper and closer look. I really appreciate the artist's skills and patience, I think he did a splendid job which will be hard to forget.

Less is more

Here is my first post :) I wanted to share a design that I find cleverly done and impressive.Although I encountered it a couple of years ago it was clearly in my mind, so I found it reasonable to share it here. These chocolates were designed by Tithi Kutchamuch. She comes to the final product by asking  the question "Can design make people buy food that offers less?". Also, her aim is to critize the situation that
the society is in, and the problems that the society has: over nurtition, obesity, illness, over production, wasting resources etc.
I personally think that it may not sell profusely. It could be occasional purchase, for example for appreciating the design or for giving it as a present. Still the idea is brilliant and I just love the sarcastic way of the chocolates' message.

NOTE: the graphic below is the brainstorming of the design.
